IMPORT PRODUCTION MANAGER:
Job Description:
You will be responsible for placing all factory orders and re-orders, updating orders for sea air splits, Canada, and major accounts. Working with designers when receiving top and pre-production samples as well as working with the QC department is necessary for all factory charge backs. Costing experience is mandatory in dealing with vendor negotiations. Great communication skills are an absolute!!! Daily communication with foreign vendors is required to assure all production is on schedule. Some travel required.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in import production
- Technical knowledge of women, girls and men’s sportswear preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excel, Word and ABS knowledge
